The UK has experienced unusually mild winters with Dec 2006 having registered the warmest month since records began. Global warming is a scientific fact experienced by humanity at large.

The chief cause of rising global temperatures is Carbon Dioxide (CO2) which is emitted when fossil fuels are used.

Many scientists agree that since the beginning of the 18th Century, temperatures have risen by 0.5 degrees Celsius - a further 0.8 degree rise is predicted. Should the earth’s temperatures rise by just 0.8 degrees more, irreparably changes to the environment, our economies and our lives will ensue.
